9 ball pool is becoming increasingly popular as a professional sport for women with players such as Allison Fisher (pictured left), Karen Corr, Robin Bell and Ewa Metaya-Lawrence already achieving near legendary status amongst 9 ball fans around the world.
All these players have been world 9 ball champions more than once with Allison Fisher having won more professional 9 ball tournaments than the total wins of all her pro competitors combined.
9 ball pool also has as one of its top referees the well-known Dunfermline based Michaela Tabb - also a top snooker referee.
